About tmpDB
tmpDB (TruckersMPDB) is an independent, passion-driven platform focused on collecting and analyzing data about players on TruckersMP. We offer community insights through visualized session data and aggregated metrics based on public gameplay activity.
Data Deletion & Retention
We automatically delete coordinate records that are older than seven days. After this point, only session data remains. However, if coordinates were recorded during a session where the player was on an event server, those coordinates are preserved indefinitely.
This is a temporary exception as we do not yet track events separately. Once event tracking is fully implemented, those coordinates will also be subject to the same deletion policy.
Website Users
We use Steam and Discord for login. Upon authentication, we store:
- Steam: ID, Name, Avatar
- Discord: ID, Username, Display Name, Avatar, Email
If your Steam account is linked to a TruckersMP profile, we also store your TruckersMP ID, VTC ID, and rank. Access logs (IP, user-agent) are stored for up to 30 days.

Opting Out of Tracking
Users with web accounts and linked Steam accounts can submit an opt-out request via the Privacy tab on their profile. These requests are reviewed by staff and either Approved or Declined.
If approved, a flag is set on your account, and you will no longer be tracked in general gameplay sessions. However, we may still track activity at special events (e.g. Easter Hunts or delivery campaigns) for analytical purposes. In such cases, names and IDs are typically anonymized but may be publicly visible for specific event tracking pages.
If you wish to hide this public tracking visibility, you can select "Hide my tracking data from the public" on the same privacy tab in your profile settings.
Not logged in? You’ll need to authenticate with Steam here first. After authentication, choose “Opt Out Of Being Tracked” and provide the necessary verification details.
TruckersMP Players
We collect data from players visible on the public TruckersMP map. This is publicly available and does not include private information unless a user voluntarily registers on our website.
Coordinate data is collected every ~30 seconds. Public exposure of coordinates is never direct — instead, it powers higher-level metrics like city visits or playtime.
Publicly Visible Data
- Session history
- Online/offline status
- Visited cities and server data
- Aggregated analytics & leaderboards
Coordinate data is not exposed publicly in raw form. Some event-based tracking data may still be public (e.g. special events or convoys).
