1. About tmpDB
tmpDB (TruckersMPDB) is a community-maintained platform dedicated to collecting and analysing gameplay data from TruckersMP. We provide transparent insights, metrics, and visualisations based on publicly available multiplayer activity.
2. Data Collection and Use
Depending on your interaction with our services, we may collect:
- Steam ID, username, and avatar
- Discord ID, username, display name, avatar, and email
- TruckersMP ID, VTC ID, and rank (if linked)
- Session and location tracking from the TruckersMP live map
- Browser/device metadata (IP address, user-agent, temporarily stored)
3. Session Data
We capture player sessions when they are visible on the TruckersMP map. Coordinates are stored approximately every 30 seconds to calculate duration, route, and activity.

4. Event Attendance
For VTC-organised and public events, attendance is logged based on presence in required locations within scheduled timeframes.

Event data is retained for visual dashboards and community verification. Coordinates are only stored if required to confirm presence or detect anomalies.
5. Opting Out
Users with verified Steam accounts may:
- Request exclusion from future tracking
- Request anonymisation of stored data
- Hide profile visibility on public pages
- Download an export of collected records
These requests can be made from the Privacy section of your profile. Steam login is required to authenticate ownership.
6. Policy Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. Major revisions will be communicated on our website. Use of tmpDB after changes implies agreement.
